March 24, 2008 Meeting MinutesMEMBERS PRESENT: Sally Crowley Robert Hedger Mary Ann Higgins Ray Jones Michelle Joy Janet Michaud Dwight Rodgers Andrew Sankey (arrived after any votes were taken) Thoma Watson VOTING ALTERNATE PRESENT: Mel Jackson OTHER ALTERNATE PRESENT: Phil Reidy ALTERNATE NOT PRESENT: Bill Zoellick A motion was made, seconded and passed to approve the minutes from the March 19, 2008 Budget Committee meeting, as amended. The Budget Committee reviewed the following proposed 2008-2009 budget requests presented by Eve Wilkinson: ~General Administration A motion was made, seconded and passed to reduce the general supplies budget by $600.00 and approve the overall proposed General Administration's budget at $238,761.00 ~Services and Committees A motion was made, seconded and passed to reduce the Recreation Committee's proposed budget by $500.00 for a total of $9,000 A motion was made, seconded and passed to table the Shellfish Committee's proposed budget until further information is provided A motion was made, seconded and passed to table the Town Property's proposed budget until further information is provided There being no other business, the meeting was adjourned.
