Local Educational Facilities
Peninsula Community School
The towns of Gouldsboro and Winter Harbor are served by the Peninsula Community School for grades K - 8 and may be contacted at 963-2003.

Sumner Memorial High School
Secondary education is provided by Sumner Memorial High School in Sullivan for residents of the towns of Gouldsboro, Winter Harbor, Sullivan, Sorrento, Franklin, and Steuben.

Dorcas Library
The Dorcas Library in Prospect Harbor is open:
Monday, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Wednesday, 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturday 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Additional hours during July and August: Saturday, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
