On behalf of the Gouldsboro Police Department it is with great pride that I present you with our annual report 2006. Welcome to the Gouldsboro Police Department. This department is dedicated to protecting life and property, and maintaining order while assuring fair and equal treatment to everyone. We will respond efficiently and professionally to all reports of crime and work with citizens to produce an outcome that will benefit everyone. We are committed to creating and maintaining active community partnerships and assisting citizens in identifying and solving problems to improve the quality of lives in our neighborhoods. Our department from its inception has fostered a relationship with the community. There is much in this world that we have no control over; in many cases we can only watch the outcome. It is imperative that you, the citizens of Gouldsboro understand that you can make a difference and in many instances you do. Some outcomes depend upon your involvement and assistance to your police department. We encourage you to be proactive. We would like to thank Mr. Bradford Vassey as Town Manager for his past support.
