April 01, 2008 Meeting MinutesThese minutes approved by vote of the Board 04/15/08Attendees: Ray Jones, Chair Barbara Bateman, PB Jeremy Strater, PB Bill Zoellick, PB Ken Bahm, PB Alt. Keith Martin, PB Alt. John Fuhrman, CEO The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order at 7pm The Chair seated Keith Martin as the voting alternate in the absence of Thoma Watson. The minutes of the March 18th meeting were approved as written. There were no bills. The CEO report included only one building permit being issued since the last meeting. John, did however discuss briefly three pending possible legal actions in which the town might become involved; two land issues and a possible junkyard situation. John also reported that he will be attending four seminars during the month of April (ongoing CEO recertification requirments). OLD BUSINESS The board reviewed the changes which had been previously approved for the LAND USE ORDINANCE and the SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE. The changes in the Land Use ordinance were approved as written and will now be submitted as a warrant article for approval at June's Town Meeting. Review of the changes in the S/D ordinance found the need to modify some of the wording changes which had been previously discussed. Ken Bahm, who had previously made all of the changes for the tow Ordinances, will mae the modifications for the next meeting, April 15th. May 20th was set as a tentative date for a public hearing on both Ordinances. There being no new business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:20pm. Respectively submitted, Ray Jones, Acting Secretary |
