          Recycling Information          Please observe the following guidelines when recycling through the town's roadside recyclables pickup. What Items Are Recyclable? Newspapers - Magazines - Phone Books Returnables: Soda, Beer, Wine, Liquor, Water, and Juice Bottles Glass: Any color, no lids, clean Cans (inside clean) #2 Plastic: No lids, rinsed out, and crushed Cardboard - Corrugated only, Brown Paper Bags Recyclables Must: Be clean, dry, and separated into containers by the categories above Be left out by 7:00 AM the day of recycling Tips to Help You Sort Your Recyclables 1. Wash out all cans and jugs 2. Flatten all cardboard into 3x3 sheets 3. Plastic jug tops must be smaller than the bottom (ie, a milk jug rinsed out and clean) 4. Sort all items into the categories 5. Make sure recyclables are not wet when the weather is bad Reason for Rejection 1. Lids on plastic and/or jars 2. Newspaper mixed with paperboard 3. Items not cleaned 4.
