Road Commissioner
The Road Commissioner is responsible for reporting and overseeing issues involving locally owned and maintained roads in the Town of Gouldsboro. This does not include private roads, driveways, or State-owned public ways.
The Road Commissioner also oversees issues related to heavy loads on Town roads. Under 29-A MRSA §2395, public roads may be temporarily posted to restrict heavy vehicles during freeze/thaw periods or following storm damage. Affected roads will be clearly marked.
Residents who notice concerns such as road damage, drainage issues, culverts, or other problems with a Town-maintained road should contact the Town Office so the issue can be reported to the Road Commissioner.
Town Infrastructure Supervisor
The Supervisor of Town Infrastructure is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and landscaping of Town-owned and maintained properties. This includes overseeing the general upkeep and condition of Town facilities, grounds, and other municipal properties.
For concerns involving Town-owned buildings, grounds, landscaping, or general property maintenance, residents should contact the Town Office.
